Apple Cranberry (caffeine free)
A tasty and fruity tea; serve hot or cold. Go extreme with this cranberry and apple blend with gluwhein around the fire AND popsicles around the pool!
18-20 teaspoons/bag. Use 1 teaspoon for each 8oz. serving.
ICED TEA: Spoon 12 slightly heaping tsps. into a teapot. Pour 11/4 cup boiling water into pot. Steep for 5 minutes. Quarter fill serving pitcher with cold water. Pour tea into the pitcher while straining. Add ice and top-up with cold water. Sweeten to taste.
GLUWHEIN: Add 8 rounded tsps. tea to a teapot. Boil 4 cups of water and steep tea for 5-10 minutes. Transfer to 3 quart cooking pot while straining. Add one bottle of deep flavored red wine. Add a few slices of orange, a stick of cinnamon, & 10 cloves. Simmer on low (do not boil!) for 15 minutes. Add sugar or honey to taste.
